I specialize in scalable web architecture, performance optimization, and top-tier developer experience using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
About Me
Get to know me a little better.
Frontend Engineer with **over 6 years** of commercial experience specializing in building scalable web and mobile applications within the **React**, **Next.js**, and **Remix/React Router** ecosystems. Deeply passionate about modernizing tech stacks, optimizing architecture (Monorepo, Domain-Driven Design), and elevating Developer Experience (DX). Strong advocate for clean code and CI/CD automation, leveraging next-generation AI tools (Claude) to streamline engineering processes and deliver robust enterprise products.
My passion is not only creating applications for end users, but also building tools that streamline the work of other developers. Under the `Szum-Tech` brand, I develop an ecosystem of libraries and configurations (ESLint, Prettier, Semantic Release) that help teams maintain high code quality and automate development processes.

Experience
My professional journey and the roles that shaped my career.
Operating at the intersection of product development and platform engineering within an enterprise Fintech environment. The role required delivering highly secure, scalable B2B/B2B2C web applications in a Monorepo architecture while taking full ownership of platform fundamentals—observability, security, performance, and design system consistency. Acting as a technical leader, the focus was on proactively identifying structural bottlenecks, architecting robust solutions, and guiding their implementation from the conceptual phase to production, resulting in over 100 successful deployments of both business features and strategic platform enhancements.
Continuation of collaboration within a dynamic Fintech environment under a new employment model, taking on significantly expanded architectural responsibilities. The role involved end-to-end management of the application ecosystem: from the main corporate website and critical B2B/B2C applications to shared libraries and internal tooling. The primary focus was modernizing the tech stack (driving SSR migrations), scaling frontend architecture using a Monorepo approach, and optimizing the overall Developer Experience (DX) through the strategic adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Spearheaded the frontend development of a comprehensive banking platform built from the ground up. The role involved architecting two core Single Page Applications (SPAs): a high-security administrative dashboard for managing the entire banking system and a client-facing portal for end-to-end loan processing. Key initiatives included creating a proprietary UI Component Library to standardize development across teams and driving the adoption of automated testing (Jest/RTL) within an Agile environment.
Participated in the end-to-end development of a greenfield internal application designed to digitize and visualize organizational processes. The tool replaced static documentation with an interactive, tile-based dashboard, improving knowledge accessibility for the company. Worked in a compact, agile team responsible for both backend (Java/Spring) and frontend (React) layers.

Thesis
The use of computer vision to remotely control a computer mouse
My master's thesis focuses on the research aspect of hand gesture classification, encompassing the acquisition and creation of a dataset, its in-depth analysis, and appropriate preprocessing. Experiments involved training and testing several different machine learning models, including logistic regression, ridge regression, random forests, and support vector machines (SVMs). Selection of the most effective algorithm was preceded by a detailed comparison of their performance based on key performance metrics, such as confusion matrix, accuracy, precision, completeness, and F1 score.
Related Project
Hands Control System
The Control System (HCS) project, the main goal of this innovative solution, is to enable touchless computer control, completely replacing the traditional mouse by detecting hand movements and gestures captured by a standard webcam. The system operates in real time, utilizing advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms to efficiently track and precisely classify user gestures.
Thesis
Web-based Task Management System
Designed and implemented a full-stack task management application with real-time collaboration features, user authentication, and responsive UI using modern web technologies.
